Consiglio Permanente Cei appoints Commissione episcopale members

The Permanent Council of the CEI has appointed members to several episcopal commissions for the 2026–2031 term. These appointments follow the election of commission presidents during the general assembly in May 2026.

Gianni Sacchi, bishop of Casale Monferrato, joins the commission for liturgy. Marco Brunetti, bishop of Alba, joins the commission for charity and health services. Roberto Farinella, bishop of Biella, joins the commission for the laity. Daniele Salera, bishop of Ivrea, joins the commission for family, youth, and life. Franco Lovignana, bishop of Aosta, joins the commission for culture and social communications and will also chair the committee for evaluating projects for ecclesiastical cultural heritage and religious buildings. Egidio Miragoli, bishop of Mondovì, joins the commission for migration and the council for legal affairs.
