O Seminario Interdiocesano «Apóstolo Santiago» inaugurou o curso académico 2026-2027

The Apostle Santiago Interdiocesan Seminary officially opened the 2026-2027 academic year with a Mass at the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral. The seminary brings together students from the dioceses of Santiago, Mondoñedo-Ferrol, and Tui-Vigo.

Bishop Antonio Valín of Tui-Vigo presided over the celebration and encouraged the students to grow their friendship with Christ and prepare to meet the needs of the people. During his homily, Bishop Valín described the seminary as a workshop for the spirit where students learn to recognize Christ in others. He urged the students to approach the year with a desire to renew their lives, focusing on inner spiritual care, personal maturity, and service to others.

The Mass included Archbishop Francisco José Prieto of Santiago, Archbishop Emeritus Julián Barrio, Bishop Fernando García of Mondoñedo-Ferrol, and Bishop Emeritus Luis Quinteiro of Tui-Vigo.
