Obispado Castrense de Colombia blesses new military and police leadership

The Military Ordinariate of Colombia blessed the new leadership of the country's military and police forces. Bishop José Roberto Ospina Leongómez, the Bishop Emeritus of Buga and Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate, led the ceremony to entrust the new commanders to God.

During the prayer, Bishop Ospina Leongómez asked for wisdom, strength, and discernment for the officers as they manage national security, defense, and public welfare. He also prayed for the lives and families of the officials. The ceremony included thanks for the outgoing leaders, recognizing their service to the nation. The Military Ordinariate stated that this action reaffirms its mission to provide spiritual and pastoral support to those serving Colombia during transitions in leadership.
