Obnova drvoreda u ulici Janka Polića Kamova nakon gradnje župne crkve

The Archdiocese of Rijeka is renewing the tree line on Janko Polić Kamov Street following the construction of the parish church in Pećina. This action follows concerns from local residents and parishioners regarding the removal of trees from the area.

The Archdiocese explained that hackberry trees were removed during the construction process. To address the environmental impact and the concerns of the community, the Archdiocese has committed to planting new trees in the location. The official statement noted that the Church understands the emotional connection and ecological sensitivity of Pećina residents toward the local greenery.
