Priests from the Diocese of Šibenik gathered at the Shrine of Our Lady in Vrpolje on Wednesday, September 16, for their regular monthly retreat. The meeting included both diocesan and religious priests serving within the diocese.

Father Domagoj Volarević led a lecture on liturgical euchology, focusing on the Mass forms for the feast of St. Francis. He explained the structure of Eucharistic prayers, including the invocation, anamnesis, intercession, and doxology. He discussed the importance of poverty and humility as internal attitudes of simplicity and equality before God, noting that priests are called to witness selfless love in the Church.

Monsignor Tomislav Subotičanec, the general vicar of the Diocese of Šibenik, addressed the priests regarding current pastoral matters. He shared greetings from Bishop Tomislav Rogić, who is recovering from knee surgery. Subotičanec also informed the group about recent priest assignments and appointments, thanking deans and priests for their cooperation during the handover of parishes.
