One night in St. Louis, one thing well, and two thumbs up

Fulton Sheen was beatified in St. Louis.

The beatification Mass drew a large crowd, with Ed. Condon of The Pillar estimating attendance was close to 50,000 people. The event followed a live podcast show held the previous evening that also saw high attendance. A pilgrimage group traveled from St. Louis to Peoria for a thanksgiving Mass at the cathedral following the ceremony.
