One of Pope Leo’s favorite saints and what to learn from him

Pope Leo XIV sent a letter to all bishops in Latin America and the Caribbean to mark the 300th anniversary of the canonization of St. Turibius of Mogrovejo.

The Pope issued the letter on September 8, the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. St. Turibius of Mogrovejo served as the Archbishop of Lima during the 16th century and is recognized as a patron saint.
