Orientation session for recently appointed primary school teachers

Bishop Fintan Gavin met with recently appointed primary school teachers under his patronage during an orientation session held at the Cork Education Support Centre.

The session helped teachers understand the role of the patron and the various resources provided by the diocese. These supports include assistance with the Grow in Love religious education programme, school visits, Confirmation retreats with NET Ministries, and Mass for the New School Year.

Teachers also received information on differentiated Grow in Love resources designed for children with special educational needs, which are currently available for the 2nd class level. During the meeting, Bishop Gavin thanked the educators for their work and expressed his desire to support them in their roles.
