Over 200 people attend XXIX Archdiocesan Meeting of Ecclesial Base Communities

More than 200 people attended the 29th Archdiocesan Meeting of Basic Ecclesial Communities at the Jesús Maestro Chapel on Sunday, September 20. Held under the theme "Basic Ecclesial Communities, seed of a Church on the move," the gathering focused on turning reflection into concrete action.

During the meeting, members of the Santa Lucía and Navidad communities shared their pastoral experiences, including their daily activities, organizational methods, and work styles within their parishes and chapels. These presentations illustrated how the communities live their faith and respond to local needs.

Archbishop Emeritus Sergio Gualberti said the presentations helped participants understand basic ecclesial communities as a new way of being Church. He noted that this ecclesial experience serves as a constant invitation to renewal and requires responsibility from all community members.
