Padre Pedro celebrates Eucharist

Father Pedro celebrated Mass at the Jaca Cathedral to pray for those suffering from summer wildfires and for the people working to extinguish them.

In a letter from the Diocese of Huesca, Father Pedro noted that the community has faced scorched fields, evacuated towns, and lost livelihoods. He specifically included prayers for the family and colleagues of Javier, a soldier who died while working to fight the fires. Father Pedro shared that the service drew on biblical themes of finding strength in God despite loss and hardship.
