Padre Pio and the Power of Guardian Angels

St. Pio of Pietrelcina frequently instructed those seeking his guidance to send their guardian angels to him. According to Catholic Exchange, the saint believed in the active presence of angels and claimed the ability to communicate with them. This included speaking with the guardian angels of his spiritual children rather than just his own personal angel.

Padre Pio’s relationship with his own guardian angel began in his childhood when he was known as Francesco. His angel would appear to him in the form of another child. His assistant and caregiver, Fr. Eusebio, noted that this heavenly companion brought joy to his boyhood and increased his desire for heaven.
