Pope deepens Gaudium et Spes

Pope Leo XIV is beginning a series of catecheses to deepen the understanding of the pastoral constitution Gaudium et Spes. This series follows his previous teachings on the document Sacrosanctum Concilium as part of a cycle on the documents of the Second Vatican Council.

The Pope intends to explore how the Church relates to the contemporary world through these teachings. The text of Gaudium et Spes seeks to address the eternal questions of every generation by adapting the Church's response to the modern era.
