Pope Leo XIV told members of the Clarisse Capucine Federation on Monday, September 21, that the decline in religious vocations should encourage a greater commitment to accompanying those seeking to enter monasteries.

During the meeting, the Pope stated that vocations do not come from strategies but from prayer. He invited the sisters to form themselves and train others in a cloistered life lived in silence and in a spirit of communion with one another and with the Church.
