Pope Leo XIV told bishops from the Arab regions that no gesture made in the name of Christ is useless. During a meeting with members of the Conference of Latin Bishops in the Arab Regions, the Pope encouraged pastors to stay close to communities facing conflict, migration, and division.

The Pope highlighted the strength found in small communities rooted in Christ and noted that dialogue is essential for building peace. He also reminded the bishops of the testimony provided by martyrs.
