Addressing bishops from around the world who work closely with the movement founded by Chiara Lubich, the Pope spoke about the difficult social conditions and divisions some bishops face in their own countries.

The Pope noted that these leaders often deal with racism, religious intolerance, violence, and prejudice. He encouraged them to cultivate their spiritual lives and turn to the Trinity as the source of unity to respond to the world's divisions.
