Diocese of La Rochelle offers formation course

The Diocese of La Rochelle is launching a diocesan formation course in Jonzac to help people deepen their faith and gain practical tools for serving the Church. The program, organized by the Diocesan Service for Adult Christian Formation, consists of seven sessions held on November 7, 2026, December 5, 2026, January 9, 2027, February 6, 2027, March 6, 2027, April 3, 2027, and May 1, 2027.

The course is open to all Christians, including parish volunteers, pastoral team members, catechists, sacristans, and those preparing for sacraments. It also welcomes people who assist with funerals, altar servers, secretaries, greeters, and flower arrangers, as well as catechumens and neophytes.

Sessions run from 9h to 16h30. Morning sessions cover catechetical topics such as the Word of God, the sacraments, and morality, while afternoon sessions include practical workshops on Christian life. The cost for the year is 50€.
