Parish catechetical leader aims to provide enjoyable and thorough faith formation

Chelsea Bucci has stepped into the role of director of Family Faith Formation at the Catholic Community of Christ Our Light in Cherry Hill.

Bucci has served as a parish catechetical leader since last July and previously worked with families through a modified OCIA program for youth. Her new role involves accompanying parish families as they grow in their relationship with Christ.

The family faith formation ministry intends to provide thorough catechesis and monthly events to help families build community within the larger parish. Bucci also plans to offer opportunities for families to practice their faith through service. She aims to increase biblical literacy and help families explore the scriptures and the deposit of faith.
