Paróquia Sacratíssimo Coração de Jesus, em Caculé, celebra solenidade do seu Padroeiro

The Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Caculé celebrated its patronal feast on September 8. The festivities concluded a novena focused on the theme of the family as a precious treasure of the Heart of Jesus, which aligned with the Diocesan Year of the Family.

Bishop José Roberto Silva Carvalho presided over the solemn Mass held at 17h in the Parish Square. Priests Paulo Henrique, Isaías Afonso, Noé Moreira, Lázaro Matheus, João Maria, Weverson, Fabiano, Antônio, and Ademilson joined him in the celebration.

During his homily, Bishop Carvalho described the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a spiritual treasure more valuable than gold or precious stones and identified it as the center of the Church and a primary source of grace. He also spoke about the importance of the family, describing it as a school of love where people learn to practice Christian forgiveness. The celebrations began earlier in the day with a festive dawn procession and the ringing of bells in the main church and surrounding urban and rural communities.
