Paróquia São João Batista no Capão promotes reflection on mental health and welcoming

São João Batista Parish in the Capão neighborhood of Campos dos Goytacazes held a discussion group on Thursday, September 17, to raise awareness about mental health and emotional well-being.

Aline Souza led the session, which addressed the importance of self-care and managing emotions through the lens of the Gospel. Parish priest Father Alexandre Mothé attended the meeting.

The discussion emphasized that prayer and professional support can work together, noting that seeking psychological assistance complements a life of faith. The event encouraged the parish community to support one another through listening and fraternity when facing daily challenges.
