Paróquia São José do Avahy invests 24 new altar servers

St. Joseph Parish of Avahy in Itaperuna invested 24 new altar servers during a Mass on Friday, September 25.

Parish priest Father Luiz Carlos Reis do Amorim presided over the ceremony, which included concelebration by Father Luiz Felipee. The Diocese of Campos reported that the event is part of the preparations for the parish community's upcoming centennial. Local community members described the high number of children seeking to serve at the altar as a significant achievement and a renewal for the parish.
