Participantes en el Encuentro de Directores de Museos de todo el mundo (10 de octubre 2026)

Pope Leo XIV met with members of the Bizot Group, a collection of museum directors representing several prestigious global institutions, on October 10, 2026. During the meeting, the Pope greeted the group's president, Dr. Taco Dibbits, and discussed the role of museums as spaces for memory, history, and human creativity.

The Pope addressed the meeting's theme, "Materiality," noting its importance in exploring the relationship between physical objects and the interpretation of art. He suggested that matter serves as a specific place where God chooses to reveal himself. Leo XIV described matter as a gift that artists transform through their skill to create cultural works that highlight the beauty of creation.
