Pastoral Universitaria incrementa sus planes para este curso

University Pastoral in the Archdiocese of Oviedo is increasing its weekly activities for the new academic year. Starting in October, members will meet every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the San Tirso church in Oviedo to pray the Rosary, celebrate Mass, and participate in discussions about current events. The group also plans to socialize over drinks after their meetings to strengthen friendships.

Priest Jaime Sanz, the delegate for University Pastoral, said the decision to move from biweekly to weekly Mass follows a large group of 30 members traveling together to see the Pope in Madrid. Sanz noted that the group includes students and professors from various faculties, including those from Gijón and Mieres.

The program is open to all university students in Asturias, including those who are not Catholic or are currently preparing for baptism. The group promotes its meetings through social media and word of mouth.
