Pastoral visit held at St. Anthony’s Church, Ternamakki

Bishop Duming Dias conducted a pastoral visit to St. Anthony’s Church in Ternamakki on September 12 and 13, 2026. During the visit, the bishop administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to 21 children during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

In his homily, Bishop Dias encouraged the newly confirmed and the congregation to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit by practicing love, forgiveness, service, and Christian witness. He also met with members of various parish associations to encourage their social and apostolic work.

The bishop visited the parish cemetery and the homes of sick and elderly parishioners to pray with their families and provide Holy Communion to those unable to attend Mass. He also met with the parish priest, Fr. Joachim Monteiro, as well as other priests and religious sisters connected to the parish.
