Pater Dominikus Hodo leads Misa Syukur Bulan Kitab Suci Nasional

Father Dominikus Hodo, Pr., led the Misa Syukur Bulan Kitab Suci Nasional 2026 and the closing of Pra Pekan Cahaya II on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The event was organized by YKAP and the Komisi Kerasulan Kitab Suci Keuskupan Timika at the Kapela Kantor Keuskupan Timika.

As the head of the Komisi Kerasulan Kitab Suci Keuskupan Timika, Father Hodo encouraged children and young people to seek God by reading and studying the Kitab Suci. He stated that studying the Kitab Suci should help people know God and experience pertobatan. He described pertobatan as surrendering one's life to God. The theme for BKSN 2026 was “Yesus Guru yang Penuh Kuasa: Wajah Yesus dalam Injil Matius.”
