Pedaling for vocations

Approximately 125 men, women, and children participated in the 11th Annual Ride for Vocations through the countryside of southern Maryland. Sponsored by the Office of Priest Vocations for the Archdiocese of Washington, the event served as a prayer retreat to ask for an increase in vocations.

The ride offered participants several route options, including 21 miles, 50 miles, 70 miles, and a 100 mile century ride. Rather than a competition with prizes or rankings, the event focused on contemplation and prayer while traveling through local forests and farms.
