Pedaling for vocations

Approximately 125 men, women, and children participated in the 11th Annual Ride for Vocations, an event sponsored by the Office of Priest Vocations for the Archdiocese of Washington.

The ride offered participants several route options, including 21, 50, 70, and 100 miles through the countryside of southern Maryland. The event functioned as a prayer retreat rather than a competition, as it did not rank riders or award prizes. Participants used the journey to pray for an increase in vocations while traveling through the region's forests and farms.
