Pèlerinage à Notre-Dame de la Salette

A large group of people gathered for a pilgrimage to Our Lady of La Salette in Proix. The event included a procession from the local church to the chapel located in the fields, followed by a Mass celebrated by Father Bernard, Father Sylvain Servais, and priests from the Sacred Heart of La Capelle.

Many children and young people attended the celebration. After the Mass, participants engaged in adoration of Our Lady, followed by a release of blue and white balloons by children from the KT and a social gathering with coffee, brioche, and cake.

The pilgrimage commemorates the apparition of the Virgin Mary to two young shepherds, Melanie and Maximin, on September 19, 1846. The small sanctuary in Proix remains a significant site in the region, marked by numerous statues dedicated to Our Lady of La Salette throughout the parish.
