Diocese of Terni–Narni–Amelia to hold pilgrimage to Sacro Speco di Narni

The Diocese of Terni–Narni–Amelia will hold a walking pilgrimage from Narni to the Sacro Speco di Sant’Urbano on Saturday, October 3. Organized by the diocesan office for youth ministry, the event commemorates the night of the passing of Saint Francis.

Participants will gather at 9:30 p.m. at the San Francesco church in Narni for a welcome and departure. The 15-kilometer walk through the woods includes periods of silence, prayer, and song. This year's pilgrimage follows the theme "Walking with Saint Francis on an eight-century path" to mark the eighth centenary of his passing.

The walk concludes at the Sacro Speco, where a Mass will be celebrated at 4:00 a.m.
