Cardinal George Jacob Koovakad to speak on interfaith dialogue

Cardinal George Jacob Koovakad will speak on interfaith dialogue during a meeting on October 9, 2026, in Sanremo. As the Prefect of the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, the cardinal will address how different faiths and religions interact within social and cultural contexts.

The event, titled "Different faiths and religions: what dialogue?", is the first meeting of the 2026-2027 program organized by the Istituto Teologico Pio XI. It is scheduled for 20.45 at the Sala “San Giovanni Paolo II” of Villa S. Giovanna d’Arco.

The meeting aims to help participants reflect on the daily encounters between people of different religious and cultural traditions in cities, schools, workplaces, and pastoral life. Those who request it will receive a certificate of participation.
