PHOTOS: Bishop Walkowiak celebrates Feast of St. Francis of Assisi

Bishop Walkowiak celebrated a special Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew on Oct. 4 to mark the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. The celebration coincided with the jubilee year honoring the 800th anniversary of the saint's death.

The Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist served as guests of honor during the liturgy. Hundreds of faithful from across the diocese attended the Mass to honor the legacy of St. Francis.
