Pisa, 600 bambini in Piazza dei Miracoli per la pace

Nearly 600 primary and middle school students in Pisa participated in the second walk for the kindness of peace on Sunday morning. Accompanied by teachers, the children walked from Piazza XX Settembre through several city landmarks, including Ponte di Mezzo and Borgo Stretto, before arriving at the Piazza dei Miracoli.

Upon reaching the square, the students worked with teachers from the Passion dance school to form a large human chain that spelled out the word peace. The participants wore white t-shirts and colorful hats.

Professor Germana Delle Canne, an ambassador for Costruiamo gentilezza and a deputy at the Vincenzo Galilei institute, organized the event. The walk coincided with a study day for a festival dedicated to peace, non-violence, and hospitality. The initiative received sponsorship from the provincial and municipal departments of kindness in Pisa.
