Pisa: al Festival della pace le testimonianze di buone pratiche

Pisa hosts the Festival of peace, non-violence, and hospitality, featuring presentations on community service and international cooperation. At the Toniolo auditorium, Riccardo Buscemi is scheduled to present the Pisa per la pace project to support the twin city of Gerico.

The festival includes reports on humanitarian corridors managed by the community of Sant’Egidio and services for unaccompanied minors provided by the Odissea cooperative from Capannori. The social enterprise Impronte will also share its work. Writer and educator Alessandro Scarpellini will discuss using stories to build a culture of non-violence.

Academic representatives from the Centro interdipartimentale di Scienze per la pace will present their training programs, workshops, and civil service activities. These presenters include Gianluca Brunori, Daria Coppola, and Lisa Venzi, along with collaborators Matilde Ferrari, Filippo Fedeli, and Lucia Gatto. Additionally, Candida Pugliese will present the Ponti di pace project, which facilitates cultural exchange for minors from the Balata-Nablus camps in Cisgiordania.
