Pizzaballa: essere cittadini è "un legame prezioso di cui prendersi cura"

Bologna Mayor Matteo Lepore awarded honorary citizenship to the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Pizzaballa on September 18. Cardinal Archbishop Matteo Maria Zuppi attended the ceremony.

During his thank you speech, Pizzaballa described citizenship as a precious bond that requires care. He noted that cities serve as concrete places where living together is a reality rather than just a theory.
