Police charge Jeremiah Robinson for alleged terrorist threats against Archdiocese of St. Louis

Jeremiah Robinson, 32, faces a felony charge for allegedly threatening to kill everyone at the Archdiocese of St. Louis headquarters. The St. Louis prosecuting attorney’s office charged Robinson, a resident of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, with making terroristic threats on Sept. 16. The Class D felony charge carries a potential prison sentence of up to seven years.

Prosecutors allege Robinson posted two videos to TikTok on Sept. 15. In the first video, he claimed to be two minutes away from the archdiocese and stated that God instructed him to kill everyone who enters the church. In a second video filmed in a parking lot, Robinson allegedly showed the archdiocesan offices on his phone and said his instructions were to leave no one breathing. The FBI’s national operations center contacted the Shrewsbury Police Department regarding the incident.

Brecht Mulvihill, the archdiocese's executive director of communications, thanked law enforcement for their immediate response and said the archdiocese is praying for an end to hatred and violence. Mulvihill noted that the safety of those serving the Church is a priority and expressed concern regarding the prevalence of threats on social media.
