Pope aboard papal plane: ‘I travel to France to proclaim Christ’s peace’

Pope Leo XIV stated he is traveling to France to proclaim the peace of Christ while aboard the papal plane. During the flight to Paris to begin his Apostolic Journey, the pope spoke with journalists about the importance of peace in the modern world.

The pope also apologized to the press for being unable to return to Rome with journalists during his previous trip to Spain.
