Pope Leo moves on to next Vatican II document

Pope Leo began reflecting on a new document from the Second Vatican Council during his general audience on September 2.

The Pope transitioned to the Council document titled Joy and Hope, also known as Gaudium et Spes, after spending several weeks discussing the Council's document on the liturgy. During his reflection, Pope Leo addressed Pope John XXIII’s request for the faithful to avoid acting as prophets of doom.
