Pope Leo XIV greets Croatian pilgrims

Pope Leo XIV greeted Croatian pilgrims during a general audience on September 9, 2026. The Pope specifically addressed the faithful of the Military Ordinariate in the Republic of Croatia, who were accompanied by Bishop Jure Bogdan and priests.

The pilgrims are visiting the tombs of the Apostles Peter and Paul to celebrate the Jubilee of the foundation of the Military Ordinariate. During the audience, the Pope encouraged the group to show the face of Christ to society through their faith and works.

Following the greeting, Klapa „Sveti Juraj“ sang the song „Do nebesa nek se ori“.
