Pope Leo XIV meets midwives inspired by Stanisława Leszczyńska

Pope Leo XIV met with midwives and healthcare workers following a general audience on Wednesday. The group included Ewa Machaj-Antosiewicz from Warsaw, who told the Pope that she was born in the Auschwitz concentration camp in 1944 due to the work of the servant of God Stanisława Leszczyńska.

Bishop Krzysztof Józef Nykiel, the postulator for the canonization process of the midwife from Auschwitz, was also present at the meeting.
