Pope Leo XIV receives Focolare bishops

Pope Leo XIV met with bishops from around the world participating in a spiritual gathering of the Focolare Movement at the Vatican on September 9, 2026. Archbishop Jan Graubner and Msgr. Antonín Basler were among those in attendance.

In his address, the Pope said that the answer to the divisions and polarization of the current age is contemplation. He stated that rather than forming more committees or launching new projects, people should return to God as the source of unity.
