Pope Leo XIV releases Magnifica humanitas

Pope Leo XIV released the encyclical Magnifica humanitas to address the protection of the human person in the age of artificial intelligence.

In the document, the Pope reaffirms the Catholic Church's social teaching that the human person must remain at the center of social, political, and economic life. Archbishop Odilo Pedro Scherer noted that the encyclical recalls these fundamental principles to support the development of humanism.
