Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV will not attend the upcoming international peace meeting in Assisi due to health reasons, according to Vatican News.

More than 380 religious representatives will meet from October 25 to 27 to discuss peace, disarmament, and interreligious dialogue. The meeting, organized by the Community of Sant’Egidio, commemorates the 40th anniversary of the peace prayer event originally hosted by Pope John Paul II.
