Pope makes appeal for October “close to my heart”

Pope Leo XIV is asking the faithful to pray the Rosary every day during October to pray for peace.

The Pope described the month, which is traditionally dedicated to the Rosary, as being close to his heart. He noted that he grew up watching his parents pray the Rosary together every evening. This follows his request from last October, his first Month of the Rosary as pope, for daily prayer for the world.
