Pregària de Taizé sobre el significat de caminar amb Jesús a la Seu d’Urgell

About seventy people from La Seu d'Urgell and Andorra gathered at the Santa Magdalena church on September 18, 2026, for a Taizé prayer service. The event focused on the meaning of walking with Jesus and used silence, repetitive chants, icons, and candles to create a meditative atmosphere.

The service included readings of Psalm 16 and a Gospel passage about Jesus announcing his kingdom with the apostles and some women. Bishop Josep Lluís Serrano said that walking with Jesus allows people to recognize him as risen and noted that life is for those beside us.

The Taizé prayer is an itinerant service held at various locations throughout the Diocese of Urgell. Coordinator Ivan David Ayala announced that the next service will be in Puigcerdà. Ayala, who began pastoral service at the parish in La Seu d'Urgell this year, attended the event with priests Pepe Chisvert, Jerrick Banzuela, and Jordi Miquel.
