Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Masses

The Diocese of Tyler will hold Holy Hours and Masses to honor those who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. These services coincide with the annual day of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance on October 15.

Scheduled services include a Spanish Mass at St. Edward’s Catholic Historic Church in Athens on Friday, October 16, at 6:00 p.m. In Lufkin, St. Patrick Catholic Church will celebrate Mass at 8:00 a.m. on October 16, followed by a Holy Hour from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The diocese plans to add more Masses to the schedule throughout the coming month. Families can find resources for pregnancy and infant loss on the diocese website.
