CNBB holds coffee meeting with journalists

The National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) held a meeting with journalists on Wednesday, September 23, to discuss the current context of the Church in Brazil and the world. Organized by the CNBB communications office, the event brought together 40 journalists, producers, reporters, and communication managers from media outlets based in Brasília.

The meeting allowed the CNBB presidency to discuss Brazilian reality, Church projects, and upcoming campaigns. According to communications advisor Father Arnaldo Rodrigues, the gathering aimed to introduce the people behind the organization and help journalists better understand the mission, thought, and work of the Conference. Father Rodrigues also stated the event provided a way for the CNBB to listen to the media professionals who interpret daily events for society.

The program included video presentations regarding the history of the CNBB and significant milestones in its relationship with the press.
