Priestly Gratitude

Fr. John Girotti wrote a message on behalf of his fellow priests to express gratitude to the laity for their support of the priesthood.

In his writing for On Mission, Girotti thanked the People of God for their trust and for allowing priests the privilege of serving them. He noted that parishioners share their sorrows and fears with priests to request prayer and recognize them as instruments of God during Mass and confession. Girotti also acknowledged the patience of the faithful during Sunday preaching and their trust in priests to manage parishes and schools while caring for the young and the elderly.
