Primer círculo de silencio del curso, dedicado a los menores migrantes

The Diocese of Burgos held its first circle of silence for the new course to highlight the vulnerability of migrant children and adolescents. Organized by the diocesan delegation for migration and human mobility, the event preceded the World Day of Migrants and Refugees scheduled for September 27.

Participants used books, games, and balloons placed on the ground to represent the voices and faces of young migrants. The gathering specifically remembered unaccompanied minors waiting for solutions in Ceuta and those who died at sea while seeking safety. The delegation also noted the difficulties families face when trying to rent housing because they have children.

This event is part of awareness efforts by the Archdiocese of Burgos to encourage a more humane and fraternal approach toward migrants. The meeting concluded with a song intended to represent the call to support those whose voices have been silenced.
