Prymas w Kamieńcu: dla Boga nie liczy się wydajność, ale człowiek

Archbishop Wojciech Polak, the Primate of Poland, told the faithful in Kamieniec that God values people over efficiency during a Mass celebrating the 300th anniversary of the local parish church's dedication. The Archbishop, who is also the Metropolitan of Gniezno, spoke at the jubilee Mass for the temple that was originally dedicated on October 27, 1726, by Bishop Franciszek Kraszkowski.

During the homily, Archbishop Polak used the Gospel parable of the workers in the vineyard to describe the Church as the vineyard of the Lord. He stated that no baptized person is unimportant or unnecessary in the Church, as every individual holds a unique place and calling. Drawing on the teachings of Pope Francis, the Archbishop noted that the Church must mirror God by constantly reaching out to others. He emphasized that God, like the vineyard owner in the parable, does not become discouraged by inactivity but continues to seek out every person because everyone is precious to God.
