A priest has proposed hosting a shared celebration with Pagliarani to foster interreligious dialogue within his local community. Carlos Balén drafted the proposal for his parish pastoral council following the release of a note from three dicasteries regarding the sixty years of Nostra aetate.

Balén noted that the note encourages local churches to lead creative encounters through shared celebrations and common projects. He suggested that his parish could contribute to this network of interreligious experiences. While the note lists several religions for potential dialogue, Balén observed that his village lacks many of the groups mentioned.
