Puerto Williams celebrates Day of Prayer for Chile

The community of Puerto Williams celebrated the Day of Prayer for Chile on Sunday, September 27. The celebration began with Mass at the Templo Parroquial Nuestra Señora Virgen de la Patagonia and included a procession to the Capilla Naval.

The procession featured the Cruz de Chile and an image of Nuestra Señora del Carmen. During the event, Marco Donoso received the 2026 Discípulo Misionero recognition for his service to the community. The day concluded with a pie de cueca to give thanks to God for Chile and entrust the nation to the protection of Nuestra Señora del Carmen.
